The Best don’t start at the top so what makes you think you are just going to wonder on stage & be in the lime light straight from your couch and become the next big thing? The top chefs start out washing dishes, setting tables and if they are lucky get to do hours of food prep…for years before they ever prepare and serve a meal at a high end restaurant!
You want to be successful and want to be a STAR but you simply aren’t working away handing out flyers and setting up seats for guests and working at events or places that are relevant to your dreams….you aren’t even volunteering your time and energy towards your dreams!
It’s time to wake and realize you don’t go from your couch or bed or day job to being the next Oprah or Mark Zuckerberg or lionel messi or Steve Jobs…..Stop complaining about the things you don’t have.
You have to start somewhere and that usually is the bottom and that is where you build your skills , build your connections and learn the business of what you want to do inside out or from the bottom up! You can have all the natural ability, gifts and talents but I promise you that You will never get to the top, be the best and have the impact you want in any endeavor if you aren’t prepared to start somewhere within that field or realm…….And the truth is most of you simply don’t start because you don’t want to start at the bottom and because of that attitude you will never get the chance to truly shine and use your gifts to your full potential! What I’m trying to offer is a reframe on the idea that
The best don’t start at the top…neither will you! So start…Start from where you are, use what you have. start anywhere just get involved and just dedicate your time and make friends and open yourself to learning and experiencing because until you learn and experience it within the industry, sector, arena you want to be in you really don’t know how it works, why it works and what it takes to make BIG things happen!!
